Last week Olivia, Hannah and I went to Hee Haw's in Pleasant Grove with some fun friends. Olivia loves all her friends at church and she is very social. I wonder who she gets that from? Anyway, here are some fun pictures of the kids at Hee Haw's.
Look how tall I am!
Livy thought it was so funny to be a pig!
Here we are going through the mini corn maze. Livy is in a "don't take my picture" phase. I have to brib her...it's so fun!

Junior High Update....
Nick, Nate and Josh just finished their first term. I am proud to say that they past all their classes. LOL! Well, they did a little better than that, no C's and no D's. Nathan is on the honor roll! I am really proud of all of them. They are so good to come home right after school and get their homework done. I know that is not always easy, but they really have their priorities straight. Great job guys. We are really proud.

A tribute the the lady known as "Ankie Kimmie"
Happy Birthday to you! I am writing ten things I love about Kim.
1. Her hair. She has the best hair. Long, flowy and beautiful.
2. Her passion/obsession with the DVR. She records more shows during the week than anyone I have ever met. I think she averages 6-8 shows a day! LOL! Or something like that.
3. Her wardrobe. She has more clothes than most people I know. And, she shares!
4. Her love of peanuts and M & M's.
5. Diet Coke. She is trying so hard to quit. I'm proud of her, but I like to encourage her to take a drink every now and then. It makes me feel better about the fact that I don't even attempt to stop.
6. How do I get 3/4's of a cup? Until her thoughtful mother bought her a 3/4's cup, this was a difficult task when it came to baking time. I hope she can help Morgan when she gets to 7th grade fractions.
7. Books. Books. Books. Kim is always reading a book.
8. She remembers phone numbers like crazy. Once she punches the number you are dialed in for life. Right Dad!
9. I think Kim takes a great picture. She gets that from our Dad. They always look great in pictures.
10. She is the best sister, daughter, mother, wife, aunt and friend. We couldn't do any of it without you.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the world's best KIM!

Tag...I'm weird!
I guess I've been tagged to share six quirks about myself. Thanks Kaitlyn!
I'm not sure I can narrow it down to six, but I'll try.
1. I hate warm fruit. Can't do it! Pineapple on pizza, apple crisp, peach cobbler. Fruit is kept in the fridge people. Don't try to understand, just accept.
2. I can't sleep with my back to the door in my bedroom. I have tried, purely for the left-side of my body that is numb by morning, but I just can't do it. I am afraid someone might come in the house at night a grab my babies. If I'm facing the door I might be able to stop something. Creepy...I know.
3. I have to melt real butter on my microwave popcorn. It tastes like cardboard otherwise, even the movie theater flavors. I have fat surging through my veins, but it tastes so good!
4. I love to sing at the top of my voice when I have got my fav songs playing...but please don't sing when your favorite song is playing. It drives me nuts. Sing quietly to yourself.
5. I chew the inside of my mouth. I cause cankers sometimes, but I can't help it. Nervous habit.
6. I love peanut M & M's. But I have to eat the peanut first and then the chocolate. I think I have issues with mixing foods in general.
Well, that's me. I hope you are all still my friends after this. Tag...Kim, Mark and Scott. You're it!

Kitchen Renovations...
As some of you know, I have taken on the daunting task of painting all my kitchen cupboards black, a project that I was not totally prepared for. The time factor has really been an issue for me. I started in June and I may finish by Christmas...but that could be pushing it. Half the doors in the kitchen have been remove awaiting their face lift. Hannah has found refuge in the little cubbies that have been left behind. She quite enjoys sitting inside the cupboards. Often times we find her taking a moment by herself in the one of her little spots. Everyone one needs to have a place to call their own. (It doesn't hurt that she has found and endless supply of rice krispy treats and fruit snacks! She has figured out how to open the package by herself.)

Our Second Snow Day
When Olivia woke up on Sunday morning it was snowing again. She quickly put her boots and coat on and went outside. She insisted on eating snow and running over to Nana's to see if she could come out and play. I love it when kids are young, everything is always new and exciting.

Music on Our Blog
The boys were on Karlie's blog today and voted her the best blogger because she had music. So now we are adding music to our blog. We picked "Dani California" for Olivia. She loves the Chili Peppers. Just kidding, she hears the boys playing Rock Band and wants to be like them. John Mayer always reminds me of Korey, I love you! I wake up to Three Doors Down every morning. It's Korey's alarm...it usually goes off five or six times. I LOVE Sarah McLaughlin. A great Canadian girl, eh Dad! Jason Mraz was a fun summer song and it always makes us think of Jake. We miss you! Rob Thomas and Kenny Chesney, their songs touch my heartstrings and I can't help but think about my kids. I love you and want you to know my life is blessed because of you! You are my precious moments. Thanks for all your help Karlie. I couldn't have done it without you.
Our first Snow Day!
It was snowing this morning. Olivia was so excited that she got her jeans and sweater on. She hurried to get her boots on, but by the time we got outside it had stopped snowing. If it starts again we will take a picture. The main point is.....fall is here and winter is close behind! I am excited to wear other clothes. Plus, this is my favorite time of year! We had warm muffins and hot chocolate for breakfast. Christmas is coming. Merry Christmas Scott!

Our New Deck
As some of you know, Korey has been working on our deck for sometime now. He has been held back in large part by work. It's too crazy in the summer to do much around the house. In the past couple of days he has had a rare moment to work on the deck...and the progress is amazing. Olivia had a fun time helping Dad out. His little assistant got the nails whenever he needed them. She really is a big helper.
The boys have enjoyed jumping off the deck onto the trampoline. If you think that sounds like trouble brewing...you would be right. This afternoon all the friends were over playing in the backyard. Kaden brought a little girl from the ward over to play and she decided, with some coaxing, to jump off the deck onto the tramp. Well, she bounced right off the tramp and onto the ground. Face first. She came in with a bloody nose and grass stains on her forehead. If that wasn't enough, she also broke her arm! Both bones!!! Korey immediately got to work putting up the railing. I don't think that would have stopped them though. Boys always find ways to make things more interesting. This poor little girl was in the wrong place and the wrong time. The Killpack's house! I'm afraid she won't be coming over for a while.
Jake's 16th Birthday!
Happy Birthday Jake! Jake turned sixteen on September 16th. Watch out roads! We went down to Las Vegas to spend sometime with him. We all went over to Circus Circus on Saturday to hang out and rides some rides. The boys had a good time together and Olivia and Hannah love all the attention they get from their big brother. We tried swimming in the evening, but the water was freezing. Sunday we went to church with Jake and Korey was able to ordain him a priest. It was a really nice experience for us. The boys are lucky to have a big brother like Jake to follow.
Hannah's Birthday
Hannah celebrated her First Birthday on August 22nd. We had the funnest day. We all went swimming at the Scera Pool. Our last big swim for the season. Hannah almost missed the whole party because see fell asleep on the way to the pool and just couldn't wake up once we got there.
Luckily, Nana kept watch over our sleeping beauty until she was ready to play.

Just Started the Killpack Blog
Hey Bloggers! Everyone is doing this but us. It might take me a bit of time to get this up and going, but I think I can do it. This is really for Mark though. I hope you will feel more connected.
