Halloween

Olivia and Hannah had a lot of fun at Halloween. Hannah still says trick-or-treat in hopes someone will give her candy! Livy was a witch and Hannah was a cowgirl. Check out the pumpkins in these pictures. We grew them in our backyard. Pretty good for a first time garden!

Livy loves to take self-portraits! It's always fun to look through the camera and see what pictures she has left.

Happy Birthday Hannah!

Yesterday was Hannah's birthday. I'm a day late, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to wish her a Happy Birthday. We are so blessed to have her in our family. She is just a sweet baby. Her dad calls her our "Swiss Miss" baby because she has such blonde, curly hair. Her nana has always said she has an "angel face." And she really does!

Not the greatest resolution, but this is just minutes after she was born!

A couple of days ago at Yellowstone National Park.
For her birthday, we invited her cousins, and we went swimming at Scera Park. Hannah loves to swim and she loves her family! It was the perfect day.

Our Trip to Canada

About 2 weeks ago the boys were invited down to Las Vegas for the week to see their grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. They were excited to go down and we thought it would be a good opportunity to go see Calgary. Korey has always thought it would be fun to go visit where I grew up. So Sunday night, we packed up the girls and the car and headed to Calgary. Fifteen hours of drving, an overnight stay in Dillon, MT, losts of potty breaks and too many Dora shows later...we found ourselves in Calgary. Our first full day in Calgary was spent going around visiting the old sites.......

This is our house. A lot different, yet still the same. My mom and dad built this house, and there are a lot of memories. Korey was such a great sport. He took all these pictures.
This is the view from the park next to the house. My dad and grandpa built the fence. Scott ran down that hill, hit his face on the fence and got a ton of stitches. We sledded down what then seemed like a hill, it's really a VERY small slope.
This is the ally behind our house. This is the back fence and the color the fence was when we lived here. What's the significance of this spot? We use to have a flyer route. Once Mark and Scott ditched the flyers behind the fence in order to be done earlier. My dad, of course, found them and they finished the route. Who dumps their flyers right behind their house? They wouldn't have made it as career criminals!
While Korey was playing photographer. Olivia and I were up at the park. There was a little preschool there and the children were playing. I could tell that some of the ladies were wondering why we were there, and more importantly, why were we taking so many pictures. One lady gathered up the courage to come talk to me and I explained the situation. Another lady, in a blue dress, got really upset and told me that I shouldn't be taking pictures of someone else's house. Anyway, we left shortly after that, but Korey couldn't help but take a picture of her on the way out!
My first job was at Leavitt's Icecream Shop. Here I am enjoying an icecream cone! Thanks to my husband for loving me enough to take me home! I really had a fun time. Stay tuned for more fun pictures!
